The largest of these Polynesian Islands, Tahiti is actually made up of two so-called islands. The larger island is called Tahiti-Nui(big island) and the other is Tahiti Iti(small island). With seven airlines that fly into Tahiti, you will be landing in the capital port city of Papeete, which is in the same time zone as Hawaii.

The popular market in Papeete is a big favorite for tourists and locals alike. With handmade crafts, flowers and the fresh catch of the day you can start off your honemoon in Tahiti with a glimpse into the exotic culture of the land. surfing in Tahiti is good on the north shore and hiking is popular around the waterfalls of Tiarei and the cliffs of Pari. At anytime of the year the sites can be viewed at their best, but the most humid season for Tahiti is form November to April.
